Areas Affected: Northern Oneida; Yates; Seneca; Southern Cayuga; Onondaga; Steuben; Schuyler; Chemung; Tompkins; Madison; Southern Oneida; Cortland; Chenango; Otsego; Tioga; Broome; Delaware; Sullivan; Bradford; Susquehanna; Northern Wayne; Wyoming; Lackawanna; Luzerne; Pike; Southern Wayne
Periods of light snow and gusty northwest winds are expected to continue through 11 AM this morning. Some locations under the narrow lake effect snow bands could see a quick 1 to 2 inches of additional snow accumulation. Areas of blowing and drifting snow are also occurring this morning, especially across the higher elevations and open, exposed locations. If traveling this morning, be prepared for changing winter road conditions and plan extra time to reach your destination safely.
